About Assured Self Storage

The first Assured Self Storage location was built in 1976 in Southern California by founder and owner Don Valk. Over the next 30 plus years Don Valk has built and managed over 70 Assured Self Storage sites in California and Texas. Today Assured owns and operates a total of 20 sites all located in Texas, with the majority in the Dallas/Ft Worth region. Mr. Valk and his family take pride in developing each new location from start to finish. Each Assured Self Storage site starts with site selection, site layout, construction, and finally management of the operations.

Plans for the Future

Assured is growing! The Assured brand has plans for expansion in the DFW area. Our development group plans for the construction of two new Assured facilities every year.
